I Love Your Blog…the Chick Edition.
The very beautiful and gracious Magda was so kind to bestow a lovely little award on me and true to my vapid ways I couldn’t find it…
Seriously she came over to my blog last Monday and let me know that I should come get my award and I couldn’t find it. I kind of thought she had made a mistake…in fact I was sure that she meant to leave that comment on someones blog who is far superior to mine and then maybe she felt bad but then as I was not so quietly lurking around the interwebz I came across this comment she left over at The Adventures of Being a Dick (don’t you just love the name of Mepsipax’s blog)

OH fuckity fuck fuck….I better go find my award NOW! like five days later I found it.
Thank you Magda…I am honoured. Also I am pretty sure you didn’t realize you were nominating me with all those very smart, cool bloggy people! But hey I will take it before you decide to rescind my award. Also, shouldn’t my blog have told me you linked here? I mean really, how many other awards have I won that I don’t even know about? I might be a famous award winning blogger and not even know it…where the hell is my Oscar and I demand only red
m & m’s from here on out. (Do they even come in red?)
And here are my seven brides for seven blogs. (I am such a dork)
1. Amanda at Brilliant Sulk I am not really sure how I came upon her blog…but it was kind of love at first sight and we were even wearing the same blog theme, with slight variations and I was all this is soooo cool and she was like What ever, dude I am changing out of that dress. I will not be at the prom wearing the same thing as you. So she got this really clean beautiful blog…that my stupid computer was too outdated to actually load but I fixed that, with a hammer. Also I am sending you this little bit of really good butter I have in my fridge. I know you will love it.
2. Ry @ For the Birds Blog No brainer here….she interviewed me and so I love her! She is straightforward and that is something I totally dig! I am sorry that I have no more butter to send to you but I am thinking that’s okay with you since you are off dairy now.
3. Booshy Boooooshy….Booooooshy…she should be the ONLY Booshy. Go on twitter and search booshy…BooshyBad comes up first and is awful, bleh. I love saying BOOOOSHEEEEE. She makes me laugh. She’s got balls. What more do you want? I have no more butter okay?
4. Heather @ Cool Zebras Heather is one of my first stalkee’s in this blogging world and on twitter! I love that even though we have pretty different lives we both appreciate and enjoy each others blogs. (Right? You like me right?)
5. FADKOG A damn funny writer…and I think that if we ever did meet I am sure we would go roller skating to Le Freak by Chic all glittered up wearing pigtails!
6. Submom @ Secret Inner Life I know that Magda gave you this nod already but I had to..you are HAWT! Just try not to let this go to your head okay
7. Suicide Blond Lets see where to begin. There is the blond, there is the sexy, there is the way she writes that reminds me of a purring kitten. Also my first ever comment on this blog came from her.
So there you have it…apparently I am a little sexist. Maybe I will do it again for the boys.

Damn right we’d rollerskate! Or maybe you’d rollerskate and I’d do that thing where you skate while holding onto the wall and you sort of edge around the perimeter of the rink, all sexy and confidant-like. Either way, I’m counting on you teaching me how to rock the seriously fine braids because mine never, ever look good, and braids on women like us – sophisticated 40-somethings – have to be fantastic!
